Eligibility
• All MU faculty, students, postdocs, and staff who are actively engaged in life sciences-related research are eligible to participate in this poster session.
• Life sciences researchers at other institutions throughout Missouri (higher ed, government, industry, institutes, etc.) are also welcome to present their research in this poster session, as are researchers from states bordering Missouri.
All participants must submit an abstract online.
Presentation space will be assigned on a first come-first served basis, so be sure to submit your abstract early! All "first authors" will receive a free Life Sciences Week T-shirt, and are invited to be our guests at a special luncheon on Friday, April 18, where awards will be presented for the research competition.
Required Presentation times
Due to the large number of posters to be presented, approximately half of the posters will be presented on Monday, April 14, 2008 and the other half on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, from 10 am - noon and 1 - 3 pm. This year, presenters will be asked to leave their posters up for 2 days to allow additional viewing time, but will only be required to be present on one day. For example, Monday presenters will leave their posters up through Tuesday. Wednesday presenters will leave their posters up through Thursday
The abstract submission form has a place for you to indicate your preference of presentation days (Monday or Wednesday). However, poster session presenters must be prepared to be present on either day of the Poster Session. We will do our best to accommodate your preference, but with the large number of presenters, cannot make any guarantees. You will be notified by email during the first week of April indicating which of the two days you have been assigned to present your poster.
